Cloud Flowers: Rhododendrons East and West
23 August – 24 September 1982
Sponsored by the Botanical Garden of the University of British Columbia in Vancouver and with support from the National Museums of Canada, this exhibition made its last appearance in the United States here at the Institute before returning to Canada to complete its tour. Ten Canadian artists were represented in this exhibition of watercolors featuring Rhododendron Linnaeus species drawn to life size. A catalogue published by the botanical garden accompanied the exhibition.
