In this issue of the Bulletin Curator of Art Carrie Roy covers the opening reception for the fall exhibition, Looking Back: An International Retrospective, Part 1, and reveals the artists who will be included in our 17th International Exhibition of Botanical Art & Illustration. She also sadly reports on the passing of botanical artist Dick Rauh while Publication and Marketing Manager Scarlett T. Townsend notes the loss of Honorary Curator of Art Luis Torner Pannocchia. In staff news we bid farewell to Assistant Librarian Jeannette McDevitt and welcome Curatorial Assistant Lydia Rosenberg and Bibliographic Assistant Linda Purdue. Publication and Marketing Manager Scarlett T. Townsend celebrates a milestone and unveils new lobby and reading room displays. The Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation, a research division of Carnegie Mellon University, specializes in the history of botany and all aspects of plant science and serves the international scientific community through research and documentation.
