Group tours and talks return

We are pleased to announce the return of our tours and talks program for visiting groups. Due to the pandemic, staffing shortages and project deadlines, we were unable to offer our normal program of tours and talks for about four years. We are so delighted with the return of the program that our curators have added several new talks on a variety of topics relating to our collections. Of course, they continue to provide tours of the current exhibition, and they even venture online for virtual presentations and off-site to your organization. As always, a great way to learn in-depth about different aspects of our collections is to schedule a tour or talk for your group. To schedule a tour or talk by our curators, please contact us.
About the Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation
The Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation, a research division of Carnegie Mellon University, specializes in the history of botany and all aspects of plant science and serves the international scientific community through research and documentation. To this end, the Institute acquires and maintains authoritative collections of books, plant images, manuscripts, portraits and data files, and provides publications and other modes of information service. The Institute meets the reference needs of botanists, biologists, historians, conservationists, librarians, bibliographers and the public at large, especially those concerned with any aspect of the North American flora.
