17th International artists receive RHS medals

We congratulate our 17th International artists who have received medals in the Royal Horticultural Society Botanical Art and Photography Show:

Hyunjin Cho, Gold Medal for "Succulents Studied in Stippling"
Toni Dade, Gold Medal for "Magnolia grandiflora: From Bud to Desiccated Seedpod"
Hyojung Kim, Silver-Gilt Medal for "Endangered Wild Plants of Korean Endemic Species"
Maria Lombardi, Gold Medal for "Tillandsia Daughters of the Wind"
Betsy Rogers-Knox, Gold Medal for "Looking Over the Overlooked-The Forest Floor"
Sunanda Widel, Gold Medal and Judge's Special Award for "Ornamental Bananas from Southeast Asia"

Our 17th International Exhibition of Botanical Art & Illustration opens on 17 September, and the reception is 17 October, 6–8 p.m.

About the Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation

The Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation, a research division of Carnegie Mellon University, specializes in the history of botany and all aspects of plant science and serves the international scientific community through research and documentation. To this end, the Institute acquires and maintains authoritative collections of books, plant images, manuscripts, portraits and data files, and provides publications and other modes of information service. The Institute meets the reference needs of botanists, biologists, historians, conservationists, librarians, bibliographers and the public at large, especially those concerned with any aspect of the North American flora.
